Training oversees all aspects of fire and rescue training. This includes ensuring personnel are proficient in tasks and skills necessary for mitigating fires, various other hazards, and completing rescues. Training is also responsible for scheduling and providing training along with all related record keeping for our personnel to maintain training and specialty certifications.
Vehicle Maintenance oversees our three million dollar fleet of emergency vehicles, which are critical to providing fire and life safety services to our residents. Vehicles are actually maintained using a collaborative effort between firefighters, the Village mechanic, the Pleasantview Fire District mechanic and 3rd party contractors.
Additionally, support services are provided to Operations and Administration in areas such as Information Technology, Communications, etc.
