Construction Updates - Week Ending January 7, 2022
Permeable Pavement Intersections: The Village received grant funding from the MWRD to construct three green infrastructure intersections at Monroe and Community, Robinhood, and Sherwood. The Village recently awarded a contract to Copenhaver Construction, but the project is on hold due to supply shortages and the winter season. We anticipate construction to begin April 1, 2022. The Village recently purchased the bricks for the project to ensure a timely commencement in the spring.
