In partnership with the Carla Thomas Med Spa and Versiti Blood Centers, the Village will be hosting a community blood drive on Friday, June 28th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (Mobile Unit on Woodlawn in front of Village Hall).

As many of you know there is a shortage of all blood types and blood donations are needed every day of the year to have enough blood to supply to those in need of transfusions. More than 500 blood donations are needed daily. Being a blood donor has an immediate impact and helps sustain lives! Please consider participating in the Community Blood Drive
Be sure to eat a HEALTHY MEAL - INCLUDING IRON-RICH FOODS, DRINK EXTRA WATER & AVOID ENERGY DRINKS before donating.

Examples of transfusion needs are:
- Cancer: up to 8 units/month
- Bone Marrow Transplant: up to 2 units/day
- Liver Transplant: up to 100 units
- Auto Accident: up to 50 units
- Cardiovascular Surgery: 2-25 units
