Julia Cedillo has served as Village Manager for the Village of La Grange Park since 2011. She previously held the roles of Interim Village Manager and Assistant Village Manager and also worked for the Village of Woodridge as a Management Analyst in the Administration Department. Julia began her career in local government as an intern with the City of DeKalb while earning her Master of Public Administration (MPA) at Northern Illinois University (NIU).
Julia is actively involved in the local government field. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Illinois City/County Management Association (ILCMA), is a member of the International City/County Management Association (ICMA) Governmental Affairs & Policy Committee, and continues to serve on the Illinois Municipal League (IML) Managers Committee, where she is a Past Chair. She is also a Past Chair of the Intergovernmental Risk Management Agency (IRMA).
Her previous leadership roles include serving as President of the Metropolitan Managers Association, President of the Illinois Association of Municipal Management Assistants (IAMMA), and Chair of the NIU MPA Board of Advisors. She is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
