Starting in May 2025, the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRDGC) will begin the Salt Creek Sewer Rehabilitation Project in La Grange Park to maintain and improve MWRD sewers within the Village. This project, carried out by Inliner Solutions, will include sewer cleaning, televising, lining and installation of sewer structures and will take place Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with possible Saturday work. The project will begin in the Salt Creek Woods Nature Preserve (behind Bethlehem Woods/Nazareth Complex) and will continue along the 700 to 800 blocks of Brainard Avenue, and on Jackson Avenue from Brainard to Kemman Avenue. Residents can expect traffic delays with lane re-direction on Northbound Brainard Avenue and Eastbound Jackson Avenue while work is in progress.
