National Night Out is an annual campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie in order to make our Village a safer, more caring place to live. National Night Out enhances relationships between residents and law enforcement while encouraging a true sense of shared community. It is a fantastic opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under positive circumstances.
Millions of neighbors participate in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide on the first Tuesday in August.
Participate
La Grange Park residents are encouraged to turn on their porch lights, lock their doors, and spend the evening outside with their neighbors, police officers, fire fighters, and other Village personnel while enjoying a cookout, safety demonstrations, youth events, exhibits, and much more.

The La Grange Park Police Department’s 2017 National Night Out activities were honored with a Top 15 ranking in national agencies in its population category. We are grateful for the enthusiastic support this wonderful program receives from our residents and look forward to its continued success.
