Facade & Property Revitalization Program
The Village of La Grange Park launched a business Facade & Property Revitalization Program on May 1, 2024. This reimbursement grant aims to help property owners and tenants fund attractive and highly visible improvements to the existing buildings located within the Village’s two Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts and four Business Development Districts. Reimbursement grants are awarded to applicants in recognition of the positive impact that individual building improvements can have on the overall appearance, quality and vitality of the business corridor and Village as a whole.

Grant Eligibility
Eligible properties must be used for commercial purposes and located within a TIF District or Business Development District.
Eligible Expenses
Eligible work includes facade, landscaping and signage improvements, or parking lot reconstruction (excluding resurfacing only). Routine building and property maintenance items, as well as any work commenced or completed prior to Village approval, would not be eligible.
Funding Guidelines
Reimbursement maximum of 50% of the total construction cost of eligible expenses, not to exceed $20,000 per project.
Grant Reimbursement
Upon grant approval and after project completion, invoices and receipts which demonstrate applicant payment for all approved work must be submitted to the Village for review and reimbursement processing. The Village will not reimburse the applicant for repair, replacement or alteration to work completed through the Facade & Property Revitalization Program for a period of at least five years.
